HOMEFOLKS’ JOURNEY TO NORMANDY

WORDS AND PHOTOS: HOMEFOLKS

We are thrilled to announce that Homefolks has found a new home amidst the serene landscapes of the picturesque french countryside.
After several years in London, we felt the need to reconnect with the land and immerse ourselves more fully in the essence of nature.
In the heart of the Perche region and its exceptional environment, thoughtfully shaped and nurtured by the local community, we found a place to explore new possibilities, celebrate craftsmanship, and give new dimension to our work.

Homefolks’ relocation was not merely practical; it was a reflection of our deep-seated connection to both the dynamic energy of the city, its diverse cultures, cutting-edge design scene, and the calming rhythms of the natural world.
The shapes, colours, textures and rhythms of the landscape, along with the crafts, rituals, and folklore associated with nature continuously influence our aesthetic and infuse our work with a sense of harmony and authenticity.

While continuing to uphold our London presence, this milestone presents an opportunity for our studio to delve deeper into our creative process, explore new materials and forge lasting collaborations with local artisans all the while celebrating our roots and dual culture.
