HORIZONS — part I

A utopian island at the world’s end.. A sanctuary enveloped by salty winds.. Bleached shores merging with the crisp daylight..The Homefolks 2022 campaign is an invitation to reset, and to explore our inner worlds.

For the first chapter of this journey, founders Zoe and Romain draw on their personal collection of natural finds: crystals, pebbles, driftwood, and weathered seashells. Gathered on an experimental day trip along the East Sussex coastline, their library of sculptural forms – one characterised by intriguing textures and distorted shapes – is pictured here in a series of ephemeral installations assembled with nautical rope.

At once meditative and grounding, these compositions reflect how the archetypal forms found in nature – together with the memories that they evoke – inform the studio’s design practice and visual vocabulary.
